The Polyglot

At a time when Instagram didn’t have much to offer apart from everyday artsy pics with the Valencia filter, I decided to bring something a little more useful to people’s feeds: The Polyglot. A profile that taught how to spell and pronounce the most common words in six languages. All voices used in the project were recorded by native speakers – very different from the robotic voices of most translation platforms in 2014. The goal was to introduce people to new languages in a fun way and, hopefully, inspire them to want to learn more.

Six languages.
One word at a time.
